Inside the room
The bronze headboard rises high up the wall in large padded squares, framed in dark timber with a line of soft light along one edge. Textured cream wallpaper keeps the room bright, and a teal embroidered runner picks up the colour of the lake across the road. Grey and teal cushions finish the bed. Bedside lamps give you a gentle light to read by, and a desk phone connects you to reception.
Why air conditioning matters here
Srinagar is far milder than the plains in summer, but afternoons in June and July can still feel warm, particularly in a room that catches the sun. A wall-mounted air conditioner means you can rest properly in the middle of the day, ahead of an evening out on the lake. If you are travelling in the colder months, ask us about keeping the room warm for your dates.
Using it as your base
Think of this room as a practical base for seeing the valley. Mountain days start early and end tired, so it helps to come back to a quiet room, a meal downstairs and your car parked out front. On the days you stay in town, the shikara ghats are across the road and Boulevard Road itself makes an easy evening walk. Everything you need for a simple day is within a few minutes of the door.
Who it suits
This room is a sound choice for couples and for travellers making a short stop in Srinagar, including those on a road trip who mainly want a good night, an easy start and space to park out front. It is also a useful base for anyone planning full days out in Gulmarg, Sonamarg or Pahalgam.
Planning your stay
Boulevard Avenue, our veg and non-veg restaurant, is on the ground floor, so a meal after a long drive takes no planning at all. If you would like a particular view, let us know on WhatsApp along with your dates and number of guests. We will reply with availability and your rate, and you pay nothing to ask.
